Can you help with my gum disease?

Yes, we can. Our team offers a nonsurgical approach to gum disease treatment known as scaling and root planing. We’ll gently remove tartar and bacteria that have built up around and under your gumline, then smooth your teeth roots to prevent bacteria regrowth. An antibiotic rinse may also be used. In most cases, this treatment will eliminate the harmful bacteria in your mouth and help your gums heal.

What do crowns and bridges do?

Crowns and bridges are dental restorations that give you many options for repairing and replacing teeth. Crowns can cap damaged teeth or, when attached to dental implants, restore missing teeth. Likewise, bridges can be used with or without implants to replace one tooth or multiple missing teeth in a row. Crowns and bridges will restore nearly all your biting and chewing capacity, plus give you back a beautiful smile.

What kind of tooth fillings do you offer?

We use metal-free fillings made from tooth-colored composite resin. They will repair damage from cavities while blending in naturally with your other teeth. With these natural-looking fillings, you’ll never have to worry about other people seeing metal in your mouth when you talk, eat, or laugh.

What should I do during a dental emergency?

Dental emergencies happen in their own time, and it’s impossible to predict. That’s why you need a dentist who takes emergency appointments, like the doctors at Cedar Dental Group. We even offer a special $60 emergency appointment fee. Try an over-the-counter pain reliever, saline mouth rinse, and/or ice to reduce swelling until you can get into the office for treatment.
