With the calendars showing August, you know what can’t be too far behind – back-to-school season. We’re sure you’re going to be busy buying your child school supplies, new clothes, the coolest new shoes, and a whole list of other things.

However, don’t forget about your child’s smile. Make sure you send them back to school with their smile in good shape by scheduling their fall dental checkup now. Take a moment today to give us a call at 425-970-8115 to set up an appointment for them.

We Make Good Smile Care Easy

At Cedar Dental Group, we understand that not every parent can schedule during “normal” hours. With our extended hours, we can fit your child in when it suits your schedule. We’re open at 7 a.m. four mornings a week for early appointments, and we don’t close until 7 p.m. four evenings a week if you need to schedule after work. We’re close by to St. Anthony Elementary and other schools, so you won’t have to drive far to bring your child in.

Plus, your child will love our amenities. We offer pillows and blankets to help them feel comfortable and at home, and they can also use a set of headphones to listen to their favorite music while we take care of their smile. Your child is sure to love our laid-back atmosphere here, and you’ll feel good knowing they are getting the best care possible for their smile.

We’ll use some of the latest dental technology to diagnose and treat any problems with their teeth and gums. Our digital X-ray equipment exposes kids (and adults too) to only a fraction of the radiation that standard X-rays do, giving you peace of mind about their health.

Our Team Offers Your Child the Best Treatment Possible

During your child’s dental cleaning and exam, our hygienist will carefully clean and polish each of their teeth. They will make sure to clean those hard-to-reach areas that your child might miss at home. The back corners of their mouth and in between teeth are areas where tooth decay can develop if they aren’t regularly brushed and flossed.

Our hygienist and dentist will both check for any oral problems that need to be addressed. If we find anything that requires additional treatment, we’ll let you know so you can have it taken care of as soon as possible. Examples of additional work or treatments that are often recommended are tooth fillings and tooth sealants.

Our tooth fillings are made from composite resin material and are completely metal-free. They will stop cavities in their tracks and repair any damage done to your child’s teeth. Sealants are thin plastic coatings that we’ll apply to the biting surfaces of molars to put a layer of protection down against cavity-causing bacteria. If your child needs either of these treatments, we’ll give you all the information you need to decide how and when to proceed.

Give us a call today at 425-970-8115 to get your child scheduled for a dental cleaning and exam before school starts back. You can also request an appointment time online.
